Klaudt Indian Family Inducted Into the Atlanta Country Music Hall of Fame

Atlanta, GA - The Klaudt Indian Family was inducted into the Atlanta Country Music Hall of Fame during a festive evening at the Atlanta Hilton Northeast on Saturday November 24.

John L. Carson and Phyllis A. Cole, Founders of the Hall 26 years ago, recognized the Klaudt Indian Family for their contributions and achievements in the Music Industry and also their over 55 years of contributions to the Atlanta Business and Educational Community.

Klaudt Indian Family members attending included Raymond and Connie Klaudt; Kenneth and Sonja Klaudt; Betty Klaudt (the widow of Vernon Klaudt); Ramona Klaudt; and Melvin and Margie Klaudt, along with many of the grand- and great-grandchildren of Mom and Dad Klaudt, who passed away in 2001. Many of the family's close friends and Gospel Singing friends were also present.

Dottie Rambo and the Marksmen Quartet were two other artists from the Gospel Singing Industry inducted along with the Klaudt Indian Family into the Atlanta Country Music Hall of Fame.

Some of the past Inductees from the Gospel Singing Industry include: Eva Mae LeFevre, Ace Richman, Wendy Bagwell, Hovie Lister, Jimmy Jones, Charles Key, Ed Wallace, Fred Daniel, and Bob Shaw.

The Klaudts are most pleased to be a part of these notables and believe the honor is a result of the faithfulness of Godly parents.

The Atlanta Hilton Northeast Ballroom was filled with notables from the Country Music Industry and many from the Gospel Music Industry. The festivities began at noon and went well into the night.
